A dream for every Porsche enthusiast: a 911 S of the first generation. The most powerful version with the 2.0-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine. This engine is the first mechanical injection engine in a Porsche and produces 170 hp. This example also concerns the so-called B-program model introduced in 1969. This further developed model has significantly better handling characteristics, mainly thanks to weight savings and good weight distribution. At just 995 kg, the 1969 911 S is the lightest version of the first-generation '2.0-litre' 911. This 'matching numbers' coupé finished in 'Metallic Blue' with beige interior and Fuchs wheels is not only a joy to drive, but also a picture to behold. The colour is one of the colours that was specially available from 1968.

The car was registered on 28 February 1969 and shipped to the dealer in Florida (USA), where it was then delivered to its first owner in Sarasota (Florida) on 18 July 1969. The original delivery and warranty booklets are still present! In 2021, the car was imported to the Netherlands. The sunny climate in Florida has kept the car in beautiful rust-free condition. Recently, the car was completely restored, of which a lot of documentation is present. The car is therefore in excellent condition: immaculate paintwork, as good as new interior and a bone-dry engine and boot. Driving is an absolute pure experience: the 5-speed manual gearbox shifts smoothly, the 6-cylinder boxer engine sounds fantastic and the car has more than enough power to get off the road quickly. Cornering lusts the car raw: you feel at one with the machine. In short: a Porsche 911 you want to own. Fitting in any collection and interesting for investors, or just to drive. "Porsche. There is no substitute."

General information about the Porsche 911 S
The Porsche 911: probably the most famous and legendary sports car ever made. Introduced in 1963 as the successor to the 356 and with more than 60 years of production still in production: an ongoing model that is constantly developed and evolved in a style like no other car. The 911 is a relatively light and streamlined 2+2 rear-wheel-drive car with the engine at the rear. The 1,991cc 6-cylinder boxer engine was fitted with Weber carburettors instead of Solex copies from 1966, and from 1968 the engine received mechanical injection. Thanks in particular to technical advances (weight reduction, better weight distribution and better brakes), the 1969 B-Program 911 is a coveted version. Especially in the sporty S version with as much as 180 hp. The 911 S was the first 911 available with the now famous 5-spoke Fuchs wheels. These wheels, like many other iconic design features such as the 5-counters in the interior and the stunning roofline, are still found in contemporary 911s. In addition to the many technical improvements of the B-program 911 S that greatly improved handling, external features of this model are the chrome bumper rosettes including bumpers, a bonnet with chrome grille, a chrome horn grille, wide door entry strips, a round and chrome exterior mirror, a gold-coloured Porsche logo, a gold-coloured 911 S emblem and windscreen wipers that face left. The 2.0-litre 911 was succeeded by the 2.2-litre 911 in 1970.
