This original Porsche 911 Turbo from the 996 series was delivered to the first owner in the Netherlands in 2002. Over those 21 years, the car has only clocked up 150,000 kilometers, and has been professionally maintained, mostly by the brand dealer. The engine has also been completely overhauled by Porsche themselves, fully under warranty. You have undoubtedly noticed that the car comes in the most popular color scheme: silver-grey with black leather. Still not convinced? Please continue reading.
The Porsche 993 was nearing its end, and it was no longer possible for Porsche to have the air-cooled six-cylinder meet all the strict requirements. The limits had been reached. And so, in 1997, the brand took a completely new direction with the water-cooled 911, internally designated as the 996. For the first time, no air-cooled engine, and for the first time, a completely new body from A to Z: the 911 was ready for a new chapter. In fact, a new book. The proverbial cherry on top is the Turbo, a turbocharged 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine with 420 horsepower. At that time, it was one of the fastest cars available on the market.
This grey 996 Turbo was delivered new to Porsche A.Point in Amsterdam at the end of 2000. What follows is a carefree existence until the engine was completely overhauled under warranty by the Porsche dealer in 2009. After that, it led a trouble-free life, changing hands amongst a few owners who treated the car well and provided the maintenance it richly deserved.
This Turbo is an attractive sight on the outside. Completely original with a beautiful grey paint finish, making it clear from the start that this is a pure car. Rubber parts, lighting components, windows, and the correct wheels are also in top condition. Matters on the inside are not much different: everything appears as it should be after 150,000 kilometers of enthusiast-driving. The seats show very light wear, entirely in line with the mileage, and the steering wheel also shows light usage. The rest of the interior, such as the dashboard, headliner, and carpets, are essentially without signs of use.
Unlike many of its counterparts, this 996 Turbo has a crystal-clear history and enthusiasts as owners who haven't abused the car and have taken care of it. A unique opportunity to own a clean 911 Turbo from a new era of Porsche. This car comes with all original booklets and a substantial stack of invoices.
