First registered in 1982, this Porsche 911 SC Targa has been transformed into a bespoke Resto Mod of exceptional quality, crafted by renowned specialists Classic Car Revivals and completed in 2023. The comprehensive project included full metalwork, backdating of the original G-Series shell, centre-fill bonnet conversion, carefully selected performance modifications and a complete repaint. The result is a stunning modern interpretation of a classic 911, combining period style with contemporary engineering and obsessive attention to detail.

Finished in striking Merlin Purple with custom White Pearl Porsche script, the car sits beautifully on custom three-piece billet alloy wheels by the Augment Wheel Company, featuring CCR logos and shod in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The look is enhanced by Singer-style mirrors, projector headlights and a backdated dashboard, complemented by a Momo steering wheel and custom-built indicator and washer stalks.

The interior is a work of art in its own right. Bespoke-trimmed by Auto Interiors using premium Spinneybeck leather, the cabin features a four-colourway leather design including door cards, paired with black carpets and equipped with GPS and DAB receivers. It exudes high-end craftsmanship while retaining the essence of a classic 911.

Mechanically, this 911 has been built to perform. The original 3.0-litre engine was rebuilt and upgraded to 3.2-litre specification by highly regarded Porsche specialists JAZ Siat Porsche Ltd. of St Albans at a cost of around £22,000. The 5-speed 915 manual gearbox was fully stripped, rebuilt and detailed. Suspension has been renewed and detailed front and rear, incorporating Turbo tie rods, rear shock reinforcement and Powerflex bushings throughout. Retardation is courtesy of custom-built four-pot calipers paired with Black Diamond drilled and grooved discs.

Further enhancing its backdated aesthetic, the Targa features tasteful body modifications while retaining Porsche’s timeless lines. The car rides on custom-sized wheels – 17x7.5 front with 205/45/17 tyres and 17x9 rear with 235/45/17 tyres – providing perfect stance and modern grip.

Supplied with a comprehensive history file, invoices for the works carried out and a full-colour restoration brochure, this is a professionally executed, no-expense-spared build. Since completion, it has covered just 539 miles, effectively presenting as a freshly restored car, and it passed its MOT on 1 July 2025, ready to be driven and enjoyed.

A rare opportunity to acquire a uniquely specified and beautifully finished 911 SC Targa Resto Mod by a respected builder, combining classic Porsche charm with meticulous engineering, modern usability and bespoke craftsmanship. An unrepeatable, one-off creation.
