This Porsche 911 997 Convertible is an exceptional and very high-quality built example, developed with a clear focus on performance, engineering, and driving experience. The car has been owned by a single Dutch owner for over ten years, who has consistently had the 997 further developed and technically optimized.

The heart of the car is the fully rebuilt engine, which has been bored out to a 4.0 liter configuration. This engine overhaul was carried out approximately 10,000 km ago. The engine features a closed-deck construction and is fitted with GT3 (996) pistons. Additionally, the engine is built with K1 connecting rods with Carrillo 3/8 bolts and the IMS bearing has been renewed. This combination results in a powerful and reliable naturally aspirated engine with an output of approximately 400 hp. The engine runs strongly, picks up immediately, and combines smoothness with impressive performance. A turbocharger is available at an extra cost, allowing the power output to be increased to approximately 500 hp.

The drivetrain consists of a 6-speed manual gearbox combined with a GT3 short shifter for a crisp and mechanical shifting feel. The car has been converted to a Carrera 2 configuration (rear-wheel drive) and is equipped with a Carrera 2S differential, ensuring sportier and more direct handling. The original differential is still present and is included with the car.

The suspension and brakes are tuned for the high performance level. The car is equipped with ceramic brake discs, which provide powerful and consistent braking performance. A sports exhaust gives the car a deep, characterful sound that matches the sporty nature of this 997.

The interior is finished entirely in blue leather, including sports seats and leather-trimmed door panels. The finish is of high quality and is in very neat condition. Combined with the convertible concept, this gives the car an exclusive and distinctive appearance.

On the exterior, the car sits on 997.2 Turbo-style wheels, which complement the car's appearance beautifully. The original wheels are also included. A new front splitter is yet to be fitted; photos of this will follow shortly.
